Crystal Stafford

I am a malaria consultant and communications specialist living in the Democratic Republic of Congo. My work takes me to places in DRC that few have ventured to. It is challenging work but I love it. I feel grateful that my job allows me to step back and look at my work, and the world, through the lens. Life is more beautiful from this perspective. It allows one to see things that most wouldn’t see, like the yawn of a baby, a mother’s pride in her newborn, or an old man’s wisdom.
